"Over the course of six weeks, participants will engage in the gold standard first three phases of trauma recovery: stabilization, processing, and integration. This program is suitable for one-on-one sessions or closed small groups. We will focus on cultivating safety in the present moment through practices of orientation, embodiment, and inner regulation. Depending on the group’s needs, we may incorporate processing through appropriately challenging poses that playfully explore windows of tolerance.
In the final phase, we will collaboratively develop gratitude practices—such as yoga, writing, or art—to encapsulate our work. Participants will deepen their understanding of the autonomic nervous system, identify their triggers and glimmers, and learn how to navigate them for enhanced feelings of ease, agency, and overall well-being. Understand the principles of mindfulness practice and the positive impact on mind, body, brain, overall functioning and performance.
